About
Intuit: a space for all Colgate students, current and alum, and faculty to discuss what they’ve always wanted to discuss without fear of rejection or dismissal; a forum for students to reflect upon and engage with their diverse passions and perspectives; a dialogue; a creative means; power negotiation; a safe zone; a gathering; an environmentally friendly online publication; and most importantly, a place where people think.
Intuit will focus on the individual and collective student body, their thoughts and life – this includes happenings in and outside of the classroom, in and outside of Colgate. Everyone will be encouraged to share their thoughts on specific subjects related to their majors/minors, and their specialties (a certain type of music, a subculture, etc.). We all know that all of us think a lot, and because of this we also have a lot to say. We want to take the kind of discussions that are being held in the classroom, open the forum to any and all subjects relevant in everyone’s lives, magnify the passion and try to engage as many students as possible.
The only question is: Are You Intuit?
If you want to submit something – an article, artwork – or have ideas for a column, email either Angelica A. (achapman@colgate.edu) or Daniel Muniz (dmuniz@colgate.edu). We look forward to hearing what you have to say!
